Please read these Terms before using Split Bill. By using the service, you agree to use it under these Terms.

What the service does

Split Bill helps you record event expenses, calculate splits, and view suggested settlements. It is not a bank, payment processor, trust service, or accounting or legal advice service; participants must confirm and complete all real transfers and payments themselves.

Accounts and event data

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. After you create or join an event, members of that event can see the event, payment, and settlement data needed to split expenses. Only share data and invitation links you are entitled to use.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing activity; to infringe privacy or rights; to attempt unauthorized access; to interfere with the service; or to upload malicious content. We may restrict or terminate the relevant account or event when these Terms are breached.

Data and deletion

You can delete your account in Account settings. Shared ledgers may retain anonymized amount records after deletion to preserve other members' settlement history; see Privacy Policy and account deletion information。

Service availability and limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free data, or calculations suitable for your particular purpose. Check payment and settlement data yourself before use; to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”.
